FEAR Headed To Xbox 360

Vivendi confirmed recently that FEAR was headed to the Xbox 360. Monolith, creator of Condemned, said that the game would be running on a similar engine. The FEAR coming to the Xbox 360 will have a slightly different storyline, with a few "surprise levels" to make it unique. It will also have "Instant Action Mode" where you are dropped into a specific situation, and the faster and more accurately you kill enemies, the higher your rank will be on Xbox Live. Vivendi said that the game will look better than the beastiest of PCs can put out, with every effect turned on. No PS3 version has been announced. The game will be releasing in November 2006. Sorry for the Confusion on the Sequel.

Vivendi Games has announced the full list of games that it will be unveiling at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo. At the top is Blizzard's World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, which is an expansion to the massively successful online role-playing game. The company will be showing nine other games, although there is a complete lack of Wii and PlayStation 3 games on the roster.

Here is a full list of Vivendi's E3 selection, complete with platforms and release dates where possible:

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade (PC) -- release date to follow shortly
Scarface: The World Is Yours (PS2, Xbox, PC) -- Q3 2006
Eragon (PS2, Xbox 360, Xbox, GameCube, GBA, DS, PC) -- Q3 2006
World in Conflict (PC) -- Q2 2007
F.E.A.R. 360 (Xbox 360) -- Q4 2006
F.E.A.R. Extraction Point (PC) -- October 2006
Timeshift (Xbox 360, PC) -- September 2006
Caesar IV (PC) -- September 2006
50 Cent: Bulletproof G-Unit Edition (PSP) -- August 2006
Miami Vice: The Game (PSP) -- July 2006

Fox- I have yet to find any kinda confirmation that the sequel to F.E.A.R is confirmed for any console except the PC. Thus far the only confirmation for the game is that it will be coming to the PC and next gen consoles which are 3 of them. And none has been specifically named. Thus saying we must assume that it is coming out for the PC, X360, PS3, and Wii cause that is the confirmation thus far. Monolith has the property so your entire post is entirely impossible cause Vivendi can not say there is a sequel.

Otherwise I don't see where you are getting these confirmations. Oh and by the way the game is not being made by Vivendi anymore. Vivendi has rights to the name but not the actual property anymore. So it will have a new name for the sequel.

And your creators are all wrong. FEAR for the X360 is being created by Vivendi and Day 1 cause Vivendi still has rights to that game and the name. But FEAR 2 which will have a name change is being developed by Monolith Productions and is being published by Warner Bros. Studios.

Sorry for the confusion. Monolith made FEAR for the PC. Day 1 Studios is in charge of porting and improving it on the Xbox 360. The next FEAR is for "next generation" consoles and will have a new name, new publisher(Warner), and will be developed by Monolith. I thought Viviendi announced it, but they didn't. I am sorry for the confusion. And also note that I never said the FEAR sequel wasn't coming to the PS3 or Wii, I just assumed that since FEAR was going to be on the Xbox 360 that the FEAR sequel probably would be, too. The confirmations are from IGN and Gamespot.
