EA Says Yes to Next Gen LOTR Game

EA has just stated that they are making a next gen LOTR game. It will be called The Lord of the Rings: The White Council. But sadly he says it will only make it's release on the PC, PS3, and X360. They say no Wii version is underway at this moment. Although many companies have stated things like this before and come right back around to say differently. So keep your hopes up Wii fans. They may say Yes to the "Yes". Especially when they say there are still unnannounced titles from them a little while back on the Wii. But here is what they had to say at the conference: "We are not disclosing a lot of information about the game at this stage, as it has not been developed yet," Gamel says. "The game is intended for the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3 and the PC. It will not be available for Nintendo's Wii games console format." Gamel says that in the Electronic Arts game, a human player will be able to take on the character of an elf, a hobbit, a man or a dwarf. "The goal will be for the player to become a hero through the way he or she interacts with the other on-screen characters," he says. Also they have stated this is a role playing game like the Third Age game. So it seems that it may be awhile til we see another Action LOTR game. But this seems like it will be great game in the continuing series. More as it comes: Source Zucas
