Best Buy Software Sales for Week Ending July 22, 2006

Well if it isn't enough I give Japanese hardware and software weekly sales, worldwide quarterly shipments, and montly America hardware and software sales I've decided to start giving Weekly Best Buy Software sales in the US. Usually with sales at Best Buy they are pretty accurate to actual sales you'll see in the montly sales in America cause most games are actually being bought their. So kinda an inside look as to what the #1 game will be in America. So check out last week's sales: Week Ending July 22, 2006 1. NCAA Football 07 (PS2) 2. NCAA Football 07 (X360) 3. New Super Mario Bros. (DS) 4. NCAA Football 07 (Xbox) 5. Cars (PS2) 6. Cars (GBA) 7. Brain Age (DS) 8. Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories (PS2) 9. NCAA Football 07 (PSP) 10. Cars (GC) Ah and the football rises from the ashes to take 3 slots on the leaderboard. The PS2, Xbox, and 360 versions of the game took quite a leap in it's first week out at Best Buy. This pushed New Super Mario Bros. from 1st to 3rd but Mario has some staying power so don't think it's going anywhere. Also taking 3 more slots is the hit American game Cars. The GBA, PS2, and GC versions of the movie game sold quite big at Best Buy. And finally the 2 games with some big staying power is Brain Age and GTA: LCS. Brain Age has been on the top for quite a few weeks going. It's even selling faster than it's Brain Training counterpart did in Japan and that game went on to sell 2.5 million and counting. While GTA always sells good and has also been up their since it's release. Well more on Best Buy sales next week. Probally will see a lot of the same games due to the summer drought but still a good dose out there right now. Zucas
